Socorro's Place

Socorro's Place is a private, safe townhome for out-of-town patients. The townhome was created in collaboration with Felix Torres, in memory of his sister,  Dina Socorro Torres, who was a pharmacist at UNMH.

Lodging and travel are some of their biggest barriers to treatment. Socorro's Place has been open since 2019 and occupied much of that time.
